The Spotlight on Inn Of Long Beach

Budget-Friendly Base for Long Beach Concert Nights

Modern meets mellow at the Inn Of Long Beach, a laid-back hotel just steps from downtown Long Beach’s top entertainment venues. With a palm-lined pool, free WiFi, and rooms equipped with mini-fridges and satellite TV, this spot offers comfort and simplicity in a prime location. Whether you're in town for a sold-out show or a weekend of music and beach vibes, it’s an easy and affordable place to crash.

Just a short walk (under half a mile!) from the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center and close to THE PIKE at Rainbow Harbor, the location puts you right where the action is—without breaking the bank.

Why Concert-goers love it

Location is everything, and this hotel nails it. You’re under 10 minutes on foot from major music and event venues, meaning you can skip the rideshare drama and stroll back after the encore. Despite the central address, the vibe is surprisingly quiet—thanks to the courtyard layout and palm tree buffer. Late check-in at 1:00 PM is a plus, and the 24-hour front desk means you’re covered no matter when your show lets out.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a budget base close to bars and venues
  • Solo travelers chasing a dream concert
  • Couples making a weekend of it in Long Beach
  • Fans needing a quiet place to recharge after a loud night
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who'd rather spend on tickets than lodging

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site restaurant, you’re within walking distance of plenty of late-night bites—from taco joints to casual sit-down spots. Rooms come with refrigerators, so leftovers are no problem. Morning-after breakfast? Several cafes nearby open early (or late, depending on your night).

Nightlife Options

Downtown Long Beach is known for its vibrant nightlife, and you’re right in the middle of it. From cocktail lounges to live music bars, options are abundant and walkable. If you prefer to wind down by the pool or in the hot tub, the hotel has its own chill-out zone too.

What People Say

Reviewers highlight the excellent location, friendly staff, and the value for money. Many comment on how convenient it is for concerts and events, with some noting that they were pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere despite the central spot.

Areas for Improvement

This isn’t a luxury stay, so don’t expect upscale finishes. A few guests mention that the rooms are a bit dated, and the WiFi can be spotty at times. But if you’re here for the music, not the minibar, it delivers where it counts.

The Bottom Line

For concert-goers wanting an affordable, well-located place to stay near Long Beach’s biggest venues, the Inn Of Long Beach hits all the right notes.

Smelly. Sketchy. Disappointing.

Liked: The location
Disliked: Our smoke free room reeked of smoke. There were burn holes in the comforter. No fan in the bathroom so it was so steamy you couldn’t see. The hot tub didn’t work. The drywall was peeling off the walls.

Absolutely Horrendous.

Liked: There was nothing that was good about this property. Everything it purported to be in the pictures was fake.
Disliked: This property was absolutely disgusting. It was scary to stay here. Most things were broken, or stained. There were major issues in both rooms I was in. They moved me from the first one for a broken door handle, I could not access the room and mold on the sheets, but that was not the worst of it in that room. In the other room, there were light bulbs missing, the smoke detector was gone, there were words etched into the mirror and shelving. There was a maintenance space that was open in the room and led to the internal working of the tub. It looked like many parts of the room had been used to hide drugs. The hallway passages were not properly lit and were disgustingly stained. Unhoused people were staying on the stairs and were frequently on the property.
