It’s functional.

Liked: It’s pretty but it’s one of those “The more you look the worse it gets” kind of situation. It is perfectly fine. Then you realize the grass is Astro turf, the restaurant is closed, the hot tub is closed, the laundry is broken, I still have a bruise on my shin from the beds, the bathroom showers are … weird? Defiantly boutique. Front staff … ok but not great. Owner looks like and, should have stayed in Texas. Dimsdale dimmadome isn’t a real place, and it’s certainly not in California. I respect the hat though.
Disliked: The beds. Still have a bruise on my shin from the beds. And the odd showers? Functional but why am I hugging the wall to shower? And why did no one tell me the hot tub and laundry were down at check in? And a coke of $3? And I booked a room for 4 and we had 2 towels?

Liked: Rooms are still adequate.
Disliked: This property was absolutely beautiful up to three years ago. It has fallen into disrepair. The actual rooms are still fine, but it seems to attract “shady” characters. Initially, I actually felt unsafe. A real shame, as it was lovely.

Liked: Room was large, nice TV, bed ok
Disliked: The room has a bug problem, lots of flying insects, fortunately no biting insects. Mostly flys, but a few male mosquitoes and others.

Inn Marin - would stay...

Liked: Was there for a concert in SF, so the location was convenient without having to be in the city.The grounds were nice, and for any future stays, I’d bring some shorts and take advantage of the pool.
Disliked: No complaints.

Exceptional

Super basic and a bit...

Liked: It’s right by the freeway
Disliked: My room was right next to the freeway with cars breezing by next to me all night. The room could have been cleaner, the pictures were a bit deceiving, highlighting the updates but it all felt a bit janky and I quickly had buyer’s remorse, even considered driving to another hotel and forfeiting my already paid room but I was too tired and needed rest.

Below expectations

Liked: For the money, this place is not good. Ice machine not working, bed was below average. I liked the wood floor and skylight in the bathroom. Other than that, this place is below motel 6.
