Liked: Location was great, our room location was excellent.
Disliked: Parking is very limited. For a handicap child and/or adult is very difficult to park on the underground parking lot they offer. Because there is not an ADA ramp available on the back parking lot. If you have a child or adult with mobility impairment you must drop them off in the front, and then go park the car. That’s what we had to do.

Liked: This property is truly a hidden gem and deserves better representation. The current photos don’t do it justice - it could really benefit from professional photography. I arrived with modest expectations based on the images, but was pleasantly surprised by how thoughtfully designed and well-maintained the hotel is.The rooms are spacious, well-carpeted, and ours even had a lovely balcony. The staff were outstanding - incredibly polite and genuinely helpful. They even made an exception to extend laundry hours for us, which we really appreciated.The location is fantastic. While it’s not directly on the waterfront, you can see the sea from the upper floors. It’s an easy walk to the most charming parts of La Jolla, including the beach, where you can relax and watch the seals.La Jolla is a beautiful place, and this hotel was the perfect base to enjoy it from. We loved our stay and would definitely return.
