Disliked: The beds were uncomfortable and the carpet needs cleaned.

Disliked: The front desk staff were not helpful or very supportive...The hotel is worn out and dirty...I would never stay there again

Updated furniture but still motel...

Liked: The location was next to a McDonald’s and shopping center, also a grocery store. So for quick food conveniences it was sufficient. It was pleasant to be on the road and driving into downtown Truckee within 5-minutes. We traveled with a dog and there was a nice walking / biking trail right across from the hotel and that really helped us out.
Disliked: The website stated a renovation. The price point of the hotel did not translate. It seemed more like an upgrade of furniture in the hotel room, yet the carpet was old and stained in multiple places, the walls needed paint, the toilet paper dispenser was held together with glue that was peeling off the wall, and the sounds of neighbors closing and opening hotel doors really echoed. It kept waking our dog that eventually we packed up and checked out right @ 7 AM when the front desk opened. We could not comfortably stay in the room longer.

Liked: We’ve stayed the Inn at Truckee before and love the feel of the place. It’s near 2 strip malls where you can find a diner (Indian food!), a drugstore, a grocery store, a laundromat, a sports bar, etc. And the room, tho dated is super clean and comfortable. Convenient to downtown Truckee but away from highway 80 enough to be quiet. Hotel is majorly friendly to people and pets alike!
