Lovey B&B, would recommend it...
Liked: Staff and owners were great - helped us celebrate our anniversary in style.

Liked: Sweet BnB-like hotel with an attentive but anxious-to-leave staff member who showed us the ropes, which included a welcoming glass of wine or beer, a tour of possible parking spots, help moving luggage, a listing of nearby restaurants (we chose Tower Cafe and consider it a gem) and making certain we understood combinations for door locks, wifi, etc.
Disliked: The mattress was awful; the bedding needed a careful review in the light so you would know how to manage the three layers of coverings; the pillows were high and hard; after we left my wife made an appointment with her chiropractor. Temperature regulation was by opening or closing a grate where air conditioned air was outpouring. The windows could be opened (a plus) but traffic noise from the nearby freeways was unavoidable (a minus). We barely slept and at 5 am decided to leave.

Liked: This beautiful place is amazing! My husband and I stayed in the Happiness suite and it was magical. They truly thought of everything when designing this space. We will stay here again, definitely. The staff was so nice and accommodating! Everything was extremely clean, and the robes were heavenly.

Liked: The property exceeded my initial expectation and was very comfortable. The rooms are very spacious with a large shower and separate bathtub and the bed was just heavenly; and I know beds. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with a welcoming drink from an eloquently crafted bar. Don?t forget to stay for breakfast served at 8 and 9 a.m. seatings in the beautiful dining area with a 2 course meal served with old world charm an exceptional personal service. I look forward to my next stay at this property.

There are better places to...
Liked: Loved the fireplace in the room. The balcony with a sitting area was nice.
Disliked: Parking was difficult as there is a community park across the street which took up most of the parking in front of the B&B. The homes and empty lots near the B&B were littered with trash and not well taken care of. The building we stayed in smelled heavily of must and mold, this also included our room. We stayed in the Kiss room. The bed was awful. The mattress topper was nice but didn't make up for the poor support from the cheap mattress. When my husband got into bed I felt like I was sleeping on a hillside. Pillows were not comfortable either, too lumpy. The room was clean enough but not enough to make me comfortable to get into the Jacuzzi tub. The coffee center outside of our room was not stocked with coffee, coffee cups or condiments. My husband had to hunt them down, in the next building, first thing in the morning. There is no way to contact staff if there is a problem. We called to report a few issues, such as no coffee cups, and got a recording and no call back. The room rate is very high for the quality of service and condition of property; I expected more service for the steep price.
