Disappointed

Liked: The outside of the property is very nice and the convenience of being close to the Longwood Gardens is definitely a plus
Disliked: The rooms are very dated, there is a lot of work that needs to be done in the rooms including the thick carpeting that have on the floors. The bathrooms need updating as well as the curtains. The sheets that were old and worn on my bed were horrible, which I thought was stain but per the manager the sheets were worn. So why would they be put on a bed? I would never stay at this property again

Best hotel in the charmiest...

Liked: We come to this hotel every time we travel to Philadelphia and it is just never disappoints us.It has the convenience of a well established hotel chain with the flair of an inn.Personnel is extremely kind and forthcoming in trying to accommodate every customer’s request, which does not happen everywhere nowadays.People that stay here are usually attending weddings, so no people in underwear running through corridors.It was also recently renovated , though I personally think it lost a little bit of its majestic appeal by getting rid of the lobby on the 2nd floor. What makes this hotel a great place to stay is the size of the room and bathroom, and its location just a stone’s throw away from all the surroundings attractions: Longwood gardens, Dunlop mansions, etc .
Disliked: Breakfast should be brought up a notch, with a greater selection of fresh fruits and freshly baked stuff.
