Peaceful quick getaway

Liked: The wine and cheese hour is really nice. You can take your plate outside and gaze at the marina. The hotel is not too far from the boardwalk start. Roundtrip and back through town is an hour walk. Full breakfast can be taken in your room or in the breakfast room. The guest room was spacious. Staff was friendly and accomodating. They even shipped my jacket back to me after I left it there and took credit card payment for housekeeping tip since I forgot that too!
Disliked: We stayed in the captain's house and didn't have any view, but it was on a quiet street so it was still nice. The bathroom lighting was rather dim. Just a standup shower but a more spacious one than the builder's grade.

Liked: The location and the rooms are beautiful and very clean though tight. The rooms have a beautiful view on the harbor and are luminous. The lobby is also welcoming as well as the staff at the front desk.
Disliked: The beds were queen size and the mattresses soft and uncomfortable which made sleeping really difficult for a couple. The breakfast is served by the waiter and the fun of going to a small buffet is not there. The breakfast food quality is average - .
