A wonderful place to stay...

Liked: The hotel is stylish, the rooms are large and comfortable. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The have complimentary hot water and coffee in the morning.

Disliked: The town of Great Neck Main Street has deteriorated.

Disliked: I had to change the room due to the noise in the bathroom. Also the coffee machine was not working. In addition, your restaurant food is really bad quality; the meat was good but the rest of the meal(s) felt like picked up from a grocery store from an unaffordable section .

An excellent location for our...

Liked: The location for our trip was perfect as we were visiting family on Long Island. Very convenient location near to Great Neck Railway Station which gives excellent access to New York City. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a tea / coffee facility in the foyer that I enjoyed, although it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room instead of a coffee machine as I drink tea. The free breakfast (Mon-Fri) was very basic, but ok. Some days were better than others with the condiments and yoghurts a gamble as to whether they would be available.
Disliked: We had two rooms and had to ask for a change of room in one of the rooms as the air con was too loud. It was too loud in both rooms to be honest but we reluctantly lived with it in one of the rooms. It was an old outdated air con system that was very loud and sounded more like an industrial boiler running!! This needs modernising. I thought the price was high as well, but the location and convenience swayed us to stay there. The hotel just needs to sort these points and it would improve dramatically.
