The Spotlight on Inhabit Queen's Gardens

A Restorative Stay in the Heart of Bayswater

Modern, tranquil, and eco-conscious, Inhabit Queen's Gardens offers a peaceful retreat just a short hop from London's top music venues. Located in leafy Bayswater, this wellness-forward hotel blends Scandinavian minimalism with sustainable living. With 158 calming bedrooms, a spa, and a plant-based restaurant, it's a rejuvenating home base for music lovers on the move.

Why Concert-goers love it

This hotel is ideal for post-show wind-downs. It's tucked away on a quiet garden square, so you’ll get a good night’s sleep even after a big gig. Late-night tube services from nearby stations mean you can get back easily after an encore. While check-in is from 15:00, the friendly staff are flexible and helpful when it comes to storing bags or early arrivals. Plus, the Zen-like vibe is perfect if you're coming down from the concert high.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a stylish yet peaceful base
  • Solo travelers attending a long-awaited London gig
  • Couples turning a concert into a weekend getaway
  • Fans who want to recharge in a quiet, healthy space
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who value wellness and sustainability

Food and Drink Options

The on-site restaurant, powered by Yeotown, serves up healthy, plant-based meals from 11:30 to 15:00 and 17:00 to 21:30—perfect for a late lunch or early dinner before the show. While there's no 24/7 room service, the focus here is on nourishing food like cold-pressed juices and carbon-neutral coffee. Ideal for recharging after a late night. Breakfast is available, though on the earlier side for a post-concert lie-in.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself is more about calm than clubbing, you’re a short walk or ride away from some of London’s best nightlife scenes in Soho and Notting Hill. Nearby pubs and lounges offer a more relaxed way to keep the night going, or head back to the spa and relax instead.

What People Say

Guests rave about the serene atmosphere, impeccable cleanliness, and friendly, attentive staff. Many mention how easy it is to get to and from concert venues, and how the beds and décor make it feel like a luxurious escape from the city buzz.

Areas for Improvement

If you're looking for late-night snacks or a buzzing bar scene, this may not be your best bet. The restaurant closes by 9:30pm, and room service isn't available overnight. Also, fans who prefer traditional hotel luxury over wellness chic might find the minimalism a bit too zen.

The Bottom Line

If you're after a quiet, wellness-driven hotel near London’s live music action, Inhabit Queen's Gardens is a peaceful and eco-conscious choice that hits all the right notes.

Beautiful hotel very let down...

Liked: We loved the eco rating and the focus on sustainability. The location is fantastic and it's a really beautiful building. Although the rooms are small you don't expect much more from a London hotel, and they have thoughtful touches. The bed was really comfortable too.
Disliked: Unfortunately for us the stay was really let down by the service. From the moment we arrived and were barely acknowledged by the receptionist. When we came down for breakfast the filling morning things really escalated. There was someone hanging around in the foyer who when we said we've come for breakfast just grunted and pointed towards the bar. Then, odd for a place that purports to be plant forward and sustainable, they seemed to never have dealt with a vegan. The standard welcome plate arrived and it turned out that the croissant on it wasn't vegan although we wouldn't have known without asking, then when we asked what we would be having it was basically remove it or have double fruit. The ginger shot was actually just a very small glass of orange juice which wasn't mentioned either. I went to the bar to ask for something at one point and in the middle of my very short explanation the staff member interrupted me and said 'do you want something from the bar or not?'! On the second morning we waited 30 mins before even ordering our breakfast. To be fair they have a hotel here with 158 rooms and about 20 breakfast tables with 3 staff running them which is completely unmanageable clearly, but the attitude was horrendous and it really tainted the experience. As a side note, for a sustainable hotel shouting about its eco status why oh why is the menu dominated by eggs?? Has anyone looked into this industry? And why would you not be vegan friendly?Having paid for breakfast in advance we expected to be given something nice to take away when we had to leave early on the final morning but computer days no so all we ended up with was a tiny £17 tub of oats.I can't tell you how disappointed we were with this stay. We love the place and would love to come back but the service is really letting it down.

The hotel is beautifully designed,...

Liked: We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is truly as eco-friendly as it gets. When I asked for an explanation, one of the managers personally accompanied us and explained everything in the room — from how they reduce carbon consumption to the local producers who supply materials, making the hotel genuinely ecological. I also loved the design, everything was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Overall, a really great hotel that combines comfort with sustainability.
Disliked: We were disappointed to see that the menu still includes non-vegan options. In a hotel that is so deeply committed to ecology, it feels inconsistent to serve animal-based products, which are among the biggest contributors to global warming.

Good

Liked: Good location near Paddington station, so also easy to get around in London even by foot from there.Rooms and hotel were clean, staff friendly.
Disliked: Overall expensive versus quality and comfort of the room, expected higher quality for that price. Small bed and not most comfortable.
