Liked: Reception area, location, walk in shower.
Disliked: Unfriendly to folks with mobility issues. Lack of automatic doors, disabled room located in an alcove with linen closet. Vacuum in front of my door for several days. Spoke to staff several times. Finally complained when vacuum cleaner and hose were strewn across the access to my room. Spoke again to staff. The vacuum was removed for a day and then back again. Housekeeping g was inconsistent. I could never rely on all wastebaskets being emptied each day. Sink was not clean one day.

Liked: The design was nice and the location was convenient.
Disliked: The room was not really functional, missing gear for towels. Air conditioning took very long to warm up. The room was very dark. The sauna was not available. Was woken up for my partner's late arrival and had to come down to the reception, even though we had discussed with the reception that he'd arrive late.

Liked: Size of Queen room with bath, design of bathroom with bath. Great location looking over leafy trees. The decor of our room was very nice.
Disliked: The check in and check out process and the organisations of reception - it was not organised. The concept is to have a deconstructed reception which does not look like a reception but it just ends up in chaos with people unsure where to queue and how to queue at check out time. Check in is also strangely complicated for a seemingly sophisticated hotel as they are short staffed. The room was beautiful but needed some basic information in the room as the air con control was not intuitive. Also beware the breakfast recommendations for healthy breakfasts in the room book, it is obviously a commercial arrangement not local knowledge, a bit of greenwashing- we tried one allegedly Antipodean breakfast place which had mildly hostile service and poor food at London prices. Follow your nose instead.

Disliked: The level of cleaning is not the best. There is small hairs in the room when i checked-in. I then changed my room to a better one but still not the best standard to be honest.

Liked: The property is a lovely little hotel with a truly warm and homely vibe. The staff are all (from maintenance men to the restaurant) extremely helpful and lovely. We travelled with a baby and an absurd amount of luggage which we were kindly helped with before we even entered the building.
Disliked: Nothing, we will be back for certain.
