Clean, Smells amazing, bed was...
Liked: The hotel was beautiful and everything smelled amazing! We were just passing through so we didn’t get to try the restaraunt attached but it looked nice as well. Also the soap & toiletries that they stocked in the rooms were heavenly. I tried to find the hand soap online to order for when we got home, it smelled delicious!
Disliked: Nothing, we had a great overall experience

Nice hotel just not upfront...
Liked: Good location
Disliked: After we left they charged our credit card an additional fee. After reading other reviews looks like it might be additional tax. Reached out to the hotel and they did not respond to me. I was not informed of this additional tax at check in and was told everything was covered. Booking.com does not disclose that additional fee will be collected. In fact during the booking process it stated everything was paid in full and nothing would be collected at hotel. I have booked other hotels and never had this additional tax

Very good
Liked: Spacious room. Bar was pleasant and had outdoor seating.
Disliked: Bathroom smelled, probably due to the hard water sulfur offgas. Walls on the thin side, could hear folks in the room next to us.

Beware, Expect Extra Charges!
Liked: Clean, nicely-located, boutique hotel. Courteous staff but shady practice of NOT giving me a copy of my bill at check-out.
Disliked: Beware, Expect Extra Charges! Please be aware that Hotel Indigo has 8 different taxes and municipal fees tacked on to the bill when you check out. Those fees ended up costing me approx. $66 more than the original quote I got from Booking.com which was supposed to include ALL taxes and fees. The hotel refused to give me a copy of my bill at check-out, telling me I needed to go through Booking.com, so I could not see how my bill was calculated and exactly how much I was being charged until a month later when I asked the parent company, IHG Hotels, for my invoice. Booking.com has emailed this hotel several times on my behalf but leaves it up to the hotel to resolve the discrepancy bec their terms state it is the individual hotel’s responsibility to make sure the prices quoted to customers are accurate. So far, after numerous attempts, I have not received my $66 back.
