Great stay, exceptional restaurant staff

Liked: Restaurant staff were exceptional. I have an uncommon food allergy and they dealt with it exceptionally well, offering alternatives. Nothing was too much trouble.

My room was extremely well...

Liked: Very efficient and friendly service. Food cooked to order.
Disliked: The only slight niggle I had was that the stool in the en suite was very dusty.

Disappointed with my stay 24th...

Liked: Credit to the staff, they were all very pleasant to interact with. It's just a shame that they couldn't turn around my overall disappointment with my stay.
Disliked: I didn't like being surprised with the £50 security deposit that was HIDDEN from plain sight when booking the room and then having to wait for it to be refunded once the hotel has decided that there has been no damage to the room that they can blame me for.Breakfast was poor. Not enough food to facilitate the numbers and then having to wait 10-15 minutes for the missing food to be replaced in order to have a complete meal.The air conditioning in the room would not stay on and kept changing its setting on its own.Once housekeeping started working, they were very loud until they finished (some hours later)The room was NOT worth the £981 I paid for it.VERY disappointed with a hotel 4-star rated hotel. I've had more enjoyable stays with Travelodge

Liked: Lovely spacious room , great showeroom , the staff were very friendly and made you feel very welcome , particularly the restaurant staff .
