Great pre Christmas night away

Liked: Great locationVery stylishLiked the room Food good and tasty Reception staff very good
Disliked: Couldn't get through on phone to book dinner - meant we had to eat early Wine at dinner not fridge cold we had to add ice Had cheese platter as dessert - no port at the bar to have with cheese Wait staff very young and so lacking in those extra skills you would expect - polite but not professional Breakfast good food- quick service , shame staff coats were just dumped on the side - didn't look good Again missed that professional/ guest service you expect . Staff were polite but just missing that something

Very nice hotel!

Liked: Very close to the centre and cathedral! Next to 3 bars and restaurants, rooms were very nice and clean!
Disliked: Check in took 30 mins as 1 member of staff checking in a line of people. Room got really hot during the night and had to turn aircon on, during December..

Disliked: Think the hotel has been taken over and the attention to detail has been left behind,not very happy staff,especially breakfast staff Not a great breakfast,very few choices on the continental and my Eggs Benedict was very bland and tasteless Have had a lot better on past bookings
