Very good

Liked: Gorgeous design and love to details. Rooms well thought of; cool astethique and very friendly restaurant staff. Apart from checkin, we enjoyed our stay.
Disliked: Checkin was not good, nobody on the ground floor to help with heavy luggage; no sign or indication what to do with heavy bags. We ended up hoisting them to the first floor ourselves. When informing reception about this during checkin, I just got a shrug and the argument "they keep their staff on the first floor". Poorly handled by that staff member. That was not a five star welcome at all. My second issue would be that the bar and restaurant food was a bit bland, especially the poke bowl or bento box. Salad with no dressing and just plain white rice is just boring...

Sadly dissappointed. Did not live...

Liked: The general vibe of the hotel was nice.
Disliked: Bed sheets had not been changed... (there were little hairs throughout the bed and on the pillows) - Granted, when I raised it, the manager was deeply apologetic and provided me a complimentary breakfast for the 2 days I was in town and they changed the bed linen immediately. However, that was hard to digest following two visits from staff to fix the room safe - the battery was dead in the safe and while the staff were friendly and initially fixed it, I then had to seek help again as it was not unlocked properly. Lastly, I ordered some fried eggs for breakfast on the first day and they were poorly executed and served to me (in hindsight, I wish I had taken a photo). The eggs on the second day were much better but it did make me question consistency in quality. To top it all off, the gym is only open for limited hours and you have to walk to another building to use a different gym if you want access out of hours (the other gym is extremely limited with free weights and neither gym quite met my expectation of a hotel gym). It's a shame as the general vibe and location of the hotel is really nice. I'm torn whether I give it another crack next time I travel to Brisbane for work or whether I look for an alternative option.

Great location and nice layout,...

Liked: Had a wonderful 1 night stay for a quick getaway and to attend a Candlelight Concert. We required an early check in as I had a work call to make and Hass on the front desk was so lovely and accommodating.
