Inchture Hotel

For the price we paid...

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful, busy little bar and the food was very good.
Disliked: Bedrooms could do with a bit of updating, was clean and tidy but the bathroom was shabby with quite a lot of mould on the walls and round the bath.



Liked: The restaurant food is excellent with good array of desserts. The restaurant staff were really friendly, and you were able to get tea and coffee supplies from the restaurant in the evening when it was open. The hotel bed was comfortable and room was clean. There was a non-slip may in the shower that was great for older visitors. Also loved the view from our window of the bar outdoor garden area.
Disliked: The towels were severely frayed. Also it was hard to reach someone if you needed help. Mon & Tues the front desk and restaurant is closed and there is only a convenience store across the road but we had a car which made it easier.

Cheap, Clean but not very...

Liked: The room was clean and cheap
Disliked: The bar closed, the restaurant closed, no breakfast, the rooms were a bit dated, and there was an old musky smell throughout the corridor. With the bar/restaurant closed, there was nothing in the area, so we had to drive outside of the village to get a meal.

Very good

Liked: Location,cycling to Dundee
Disliked: No staff a vailab le for 2 days. No food for 2 days

It did the job

Liked: Location suited us as we were going to a wedding
Disliked: Rooms are very tired and things are broken. Bathroom dirty. Needs a good scrub. Obviously just gets a wipe on er. Lots of dirt and mould

Friendly, helpful staff and in...

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was great. The hotel is an old building but my room was clean and well equipped.
Disliked: It was a shame that there is no breakfast served in the morning as I had to head off before 9am. They did offer a brunch option starting at 11. I bought some food at the spar across the road instead.

It is a real shame,...

Liked: I live in the village and we booked it because we were moving home. The pub and restaurant are fine although they are not open on a Monday and Tuesday, the nights we were staying but we knew that.
Disliked: What we did not expect, was for there to be no service after checking in. Upstairs is very tired.

Exceptional

Liked: The people.
Disliked: Could do with a freshen up per the bathrooms.

Liked: Disappointed the restaurant was closed! Otherwise an enjoyable stay.
Disliked: Would have liked the restaurant and bar to be open, but they did warn us beforehand.
