Worst motel/hotel stay I have...

Liked: Decent location.
Disliked: Check in was a Kiosk with an agent in the Philipines. This meant that when there were issues with the room I had been assigned, the agent's assistance, not to mention the time it took to get answers from someone actually in Moab meant check in took half an hour.It turned out there was no bathroom electricity my entire stay (discovered only after I had completely unpacked and set up for a 4 day stay) and no hot water for the last day and morning of my stay. Although they offered to move me, I was already completely unpacked and set up for my stay and I was assured the electrical problem would be fixed the next day. Each day I went out for Moab activities and returned to find it unfixed, but promised for the next day. Same thing happened every day.When I contacted Booking.com the agent could not reach anyone on site and said she would get back to me. Neither the booking.com agent nor the Inca Inn contacted me. Bad customer service by both. I was on vacation and couldn't do anything more till I got home. I finally realized that the $57 refund (on a bill of over $600) had been given when reviewing my credit card statement. The amount of that refund is absolutely insulting given the guest service at the Inca.My last day the hot water went out, so I not only had no electricity in the bathroom, I couldn't shower that day or the morning I left, even though I got a phone call saying the hot water would be repaire the night before I left.Add to this the Kiosk check in - with an agent in the Philipines! - with no actual person on site to assist guests made this the worst motel/hotel stay I have ever had in decades of travel.

Despite advance booking & paid,...

Liked: I can not say anything bad about hotel and staff. The only problem was that I made the booking via booking.com for 2 adult and 2 kids and ended having no room at all. Despite having booking confirmation and paid in advance I wasn't on the guest list for some reasons. After whole day travel and having 2 kids the last thing you need at 9p.m was to find out that there is no room foe us and they are fully booked. I have booked many hotel in my life and had never experienced something like that. As we were with other family group, they give us their one room (with only one double bed) and we manage to squish kids together and one slept on the floor. The staff was doing a lot to solve this problem but they couldn't magically create additional room for us. I blame booking com as this is not acceptable, especially when I booked well in advance and paid in front.
Disliked: I was very very disappointed to find out at 9p.m that there is no room for my family.

Passable

Liked: Clean and comfortable
Disliked: Some lights were broken and did not work, some light bulbs were unscrewed to probably reduce the electricity bill, in the bathroom the knob to turn on the fan/heater was removed, the sink was almost clogged, the microwave handle broken etc. It felt like a ripoff when you pay $150...

Liked: The location is great.
Disliked: There is no staff. You have to virtually check in, which went smoothly for the gal ahead of us, but when we were checking in the Internet kept dropping so we literally had to try to reload 5 times. The gentleman told us we had no reservation, even though we had a confirmation email from booking.com saying we did for 11 nights. Between him dropping the call and not being able to figure out the reservation that was not a smooth process. Amenities that were promised in booking were not actually available. There is a book with information in the rooms, that is clearly outdated because almost nothing applies anymore. Breakfast was not available. I challenged that it was advertised as well as advertised in the book so they said they would "make an exception for us" and we could go to the neighboring hotel for a grab and go breakfast. The hot water heater apparently broke so for 4 nights and 5 days I had to take an icy cold shower. I called to challenge the people about wanting reimbursement or a way to make.other arrangements, but they just kept promising me that "it was being fixed today". Clearly it wasn't as the issue went on for 5 days. I called the lady again and she said she would talk to her manager and let her know my complaints. Nothing has come of it and to no surprise no one has contacted me. The gal wouldn't even offer to put us up in a different room or hotel or the neighboring hotel or to refund us. Nothing. Very poor service and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Literally we adventure all day and just need a bed to sleep and a hot shower to wash and that couldn't even be accomplished. Also the bathroom stunk terribly of urine and sulfur. And the way the wiring and electric was you couldn't even charge a phone and have a light on. I wish that at this point.they would at least reimburse me for part of my stay. We definitely could have had more amenities camping in my car.

Not customer focused.

Disliked: No hot water and no apology for that fact! They didrelocate us to another property but not a word of remorse for the inconvenience!!

Fine. Not amazing but fine.

Liked: Location for the activity was two blocks away. Quiet enough. Parking was adequate. (The red bar graph says I should say more.... oh, now it's greeeeeeeen!)
Disliked: Small stuff- no USB charging. Some fixtures are a little loose (showerhead, mixing valve). A couple of lights out. It was a two queen (?) room- how would 4 people move around in there?! DETAIL- there is something really off-putting about a nail clipping in the middle of the newly laid bedspread.
