More attention needed on cleanliness...

Liked: The receptionist was lovely and helped me move rooms.
Disliked: My first room was not cleaned: the bed was not made and there were a pair of shorts on the bed. There was an unflushed wee in the toilet.The second room had no hand soap in the bathroom, a stain on the hand towel, stains on the pillows, no kettle (the receptionist brought me one) and it was boiling hot. I requested a fan and it got delivered to me really late (around 10:15pm - I was half asleep and it really startled me that was someone was knocking on the door). The staff were nice but the cleanliness and facilities were really poor and I won’t be staying here again.

Liked: Staff were very helpful and friendly, the place is very close to places I had visited for
Disliked: Some of the other visitors were clearly smoking all sorts of things during my stay, which made the smell in the place unbearable sometimes

Good value for money

Liked: Basic but clean and tidy. No frills at all, but it was only a room for one night, and it fulfilled that requirement. It appeared clean and tidy, and at no time were we cringing.
Disliked: Minor stuff. The reception was a little smelly ( not the room, though). Tea making facilities were welcomed but could do with some kind of implement to stir.TV in our room (210) had no picture, just sound.

Liked: I liked the location, it is an easy and relaxed place because I was able to find my way around the area / city with ease.The hotel was assessable for where I needed to get to and from.I did like the attitude of the man on reception when I eventually arrived from a 4hr journey. He was very welcoming and assuring (all credit to him). It was an easy commute to where I needed to get to and once again the guy on reception was able to help with that too.
Disliked: I didn't like the room I was allocated.I was on the second floor.I thought everything was going to be on the same level.I have health issues including a bad back and leg. I was constantly having to go up and down the stairs to use the bathroom. Which is not good for my diabetes. There were no basic amenities like a cup or water in 30° heat. Despite a large open space that could be used better I'm only 5'2 but I found the shower small and restricted.I banged my head on the sink trying to sit down on the toilet! No matter how I tried the bathroom floor was soaked after a shower. There were multiple random holes in the bathroom tiles. No mirror in the bedroom. The main door didn't lock from the inside.I didn't like that I was charged double in comparison to other guests.
