Liked: The approach to the property is grand and it’s located next to the lake. It has a valet car service which was a nice surprise. Service from staff was very polite in the spa and reception. At breakfast, you felt they were a bit stressed though our waitress was nice. The hotel is super organised so when you book, they immediately ask you about spa times because it can get very busy. They also told us about the lights and fireworks show as it was a festival weekend so we could book tickets beforehand. This was very worth it as the show was a spectacle worth seeing. We have nice treats in our room and they service the room twice a day with water bottles every time too.
Disliked: I think the rooms are a little old fashioned so felt they did not live up to the grandeur of the building itself. The room was large and we had a balcony which has a view of the lake on the side so you could just about see it.

Liked: Nice design, lovely, helpful staff,we had a problem with our room ,all was sorted and compensated.

Excellent hotel, will definitely stay...

Liked: Excellent check in process - very quick, and very friendly staff. Bags were whipped up to the room and the car was parked up with minimal fuss, check in staff were excellent and showed us straight to the room.
Disliked: Service in the restaurant was a little slow, but the food was of a very high standard so was worth the wait...

Liked: Fabulous hotel. Staff was very accommodating, and the view from room and grounds can't be beat. Beautiful!
