Liked: A beautiful hotel with what felt like the original styling, as it should be. The beds were comfortable. Good choice of food at breakfast. Everywhere was clean and tidy. The staff and guests were friendly. Easy check-in and check-out. I would recommend the hotel for anyone to stay.
Disliked: The only one small nigle I have was that there wasn't a plug socket near the bed.

Disliked: No A/C in the room, which is understandable in an old building, but still made it uncomfortable.

Liked: Staff were friendly.
Disliked: The bed frame was loose and constantly creaked even when people walked past in the corridor outside. I moved the bed 1 inch away from the wall to see if this helped and was shocked to see thick dust all down the back of the bed. I also had to shake/dust the bed sheet down as it was full of bits of fluff and even hairs.

Disliked: Run down ,rooms not up to standard pigeons flying about corridors on the second floor not hygienic to say the least with birds inside , my friends room had a giant spiders web above her bed which had been in situ for sometime ,said they catered for dogs which we thought was very poor we had to eat in the reception area because of this with low tables and bring our own breakfast though no water in bowls at front door,they never hesitated to take twenty pound each dog for their stay plus on top a thirty pound deposit deplorable!

Liked: I loved everything about the hotel room was smaller than i was used to this was my third visit and just thought the twin rooms were all the same size
Disliked: My sister, who i travelled with is a vegetarian. The food for her was not the best. One of the starters was oyster mushroom on sour dough bread she was given an old school style pudding bowl full of mushrooms thst looked like meat and tasted like liver with two pieces of the hardes bread i have ever encountered. She had another dish that was a wellington the first time she had this it was lovely made with care the second it was just thrown together with big lumps of carrots or sweet potstoes in it. As for the tomatoe tart starter a 2 year old could have made it..so maybe not the best place if your vegetarian.
