Imagine on Southbank

Good location, good value

Liked: I had plenty of notice that they moved me to imagine marco after booking here. The room was large, clean, towels were soft, the staff member on night duty was helpful, air con worked really well
Disliked: Checking in took AGES. One lift wasn't working so after taking about 40 mins to check in, then had to wait so long to get into a lift to get to my room. People were really peeved at the process.

Liked: Not a bad location, pool was nice and staff were lovely and helpful
Disliked: Right on the busy highway so quite loud, not overly clean

Unfortunately it was a disappointing...

Liked: Great location, parking available at a reasonable price, friendly staff
Disliked: It was so unclean, the bathroom had someone else’s hair still on the floor, the walls were filthy. Our bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in. The pool looked nothing like the images, it was a quarter of the size and the glass surrounding it looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time

Loud, dirty and too far...

Liked: The staff were as helpful as they could be given the circumstances.
Disliked: We didn’t get to stay at this hotel (Southbank) because Imagine moved us to a different hotel (Marco) that wasn’t really near where we planned on staying. The first room they gave us the air con was broken. The second room they gave us was gross and needs a deep clean. The road noise from the freeway next door didn’t help the sleep either. I understand Southbank had an issue and needed to close, but I’ll just avoid Imagine hotels altogether now.

Disliked: - there was a horrible smell in the hallways- there were not enough towels provided - there were no bathroom mats-the bathroom is so far a part from the bedroom - the male concierge had lots of attitude!
