Pleasant and restful

Liked: Breakfasts, meals were good. Staff very friendly and helpful, and good choice of menu.
Disliked: Room was too small.

Be careful when booking anything...

Liked: Food and facilities were good and staff were friendly. Location isn’t great but that can’t be helped.
Disliked: Booked 2 rooms for three nights, booked the restaurant for 2 nights and booked the spa. Was told I could cancel if needed as I had booked in advance. Whilst out for the day I got caught in the holiday traffic, called the hotel to advise I would not make my spa time, hotel said ok but they would charge me for the booking and simply told it was policy. This was not what was told to me when booking. Given the amount of money I spent on rooms and food and drinks at the hotel I was really disappointed - it was simple your word against own and we are charging you… greed spoilt the holiday weekend - as nice as it was I would not go back or recommend. I’m not sure the hotel would really care to be honest.

Liked: Every member of staff extremely friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and bar menu which was also very reasonably priced. Immaculate leisure facilities including properly hot sauna and steam room. Only able to stay for one night but will definitely be back for longer.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing to fault.

First time Spa Hotel stay...

Liked: My parents were the couple who stayed and they relaid their trip to me on return. They thought the staff were very welcoming and polite. The facilities were really enjoyable as a first time spa hotel experience.
Disliked: There wasn't anything they didn't like, but my dad thought that the dressing gowns for men should perhaps be a little more generous on size.

Liked: Everything, the staff were exceptional very friendly and nothing too much trouble! The food was gorgeous and the spa very relaxing which you could use whenever you fancied ! My husband had a massage therapy which he enjoyed very much ! The hotel itself was full of character with three lounges to relax in and a Grandfather clock in the reception area ! Homemade flapjack left in room each morning which gave a welcoming touch. We will definitely be returning! 😊
