Liked: The staff were really very friendly, helpful & courteous, nothing was too much trouble. The service outstanding. Loved the spa facilities. The food was fabulous, varied tasty menus & all efficiently served. The location is perfect for a Dartmoor stay in this cosy family run hotel. Will look forward to a return visit.
Disliked: Nothing to not like.

Liked: The staff were exceptionally efficient, welcoming and helpful. I was given information on the local walks and was helped to order a taxi when I left. The service from all staff was excellent. Food was good quality and the flapjacks in the room were delicious. The spa was also very good. Clean, good sized rooms. This is such a good place to stay if you are interested in walking on Dartmoor.

Liked: Spa was outstanding. Breakfast had a good selection available.
Disliked: Finding the Ilsington was not easy - a warning not to rely on SatNav would be useful. Also, more EV points would be useful.

Liked: Fantastic friendly and helpful stuff. Stunning views into the countryside, quiet and peaceful location, gorgeous terasse to enjoy your afternoon drink. Our dinner was very very good. Breakfast was served in a pleasantly air conditioned conservatory with relaxing music. Once again, food was very tasty and they served the best croissants I have ever had.Swimming pool and spa was a great bonus!
Disliked: Little dated and I wish there were more family rooms available. If you have one 8 year old child, you can’t have her sleeping in a separate room.
