ibis York Centre

Me and my best friend stayed here as we were seeing Shane Filan at the Barbican Centre. The bathroom door didn't have a lock on and I slipped when I went into the bathroom, as the floor was wet but didn't have a wet floor sign. The room had an unpleasant odour to it. The curtains were dirty and didn't match, then in the morning the window sill was soaked - water had even dripped down the wall and wet the carpet. It was freezing as there wasn't a heater in the room. The breakfast was ok but the staff didn't replenish the food enough though. It would have been a nicer atmosphere if there was music.

Liked: Close location to town,the bar
Disliked: Went for breakfast and my wife was charged £14 for one toast and a coffee, no small frying room plus no where decent to put clothes for 27 days

Disliked: The breakfast was OK sausages weren't the best and toast wasn't up to scratch, no fried egg

Liked: Breakfast was good, location fine.
Disliked: We did not like the room because it was dark with no natural light. Window really small, and all we could see was a brick wall. Not impressed with this at all.
