Me and my best friend stayed here as we were seeing Shane Filan at the Barbican Centre. The bathroom door didn't have a lock on and I slipped when I went into the bathroom, as the floor was wet but didn't have a wet floor sign. The room had an unpleasant odour to it. The curtains were dirty and didn't match, then in the morning the window sill was soaked - water had even dripped down the wall and wet the carpet. It was freezing as there wasn't a heater in the room. The breakfast was ok but the staff didn't replenish the food enough though. It would have been a nicer atmosphere if there was music.

Disliked: No do not disturb tags for room doors, reported a blocked bathroom sink they came to the room while we were out to fix it but all they did was remove the plug so you could not fill the sink to wash anymore,not confident with lifts as they made noises and was worried they were going to breakdown.

Liked: Comfortable, clean, helpful and friendly staff. It has everything you need for a city break. Close to the city centre not even a 10 minute walk. Really nice hotel bar too.
Disliked: Only negative would be the walls are a little thin, but it's not drastically bad.

Basic and tired

Disliked: Very tired. Needs a refurbishment.. Cooked breakfast not very appetising for cost

Great location and very nice...

Liked: Fast check in and check out. Staff was super friendly. Clean and spacious room. Its location is perfect as it's less than 10 minutes walk from the city centre.
Disliked: Only minor complaint is that the curtain didn't close all the way leaving a tiny gap where light would shine through but it wasn't like a crazy amount, so nothing that bothered us that much. The lobby was a bit loud in the evening with some guests hanging out there drunk and nobody said anything to them. Luckily we couldn't hear them up in our room when we went to bed. The bed and pillows weren't the most comfortable ones or at least not as comfortable as we hoped.
