Disliked: Not enough parking places und up charge for parking, that was not clear when booking. Breakfast was horrible, internet was slow. The hotel has no space for bikes!

Awesome location in the heart...

Liked: Stay: April 22 to 23 2024. Location, location, location!!! If you are driving into Trier, look no further. With a parking lot onsite and being steps from the heart of the city center, this Ibis is a no brainer (let them know you are coming by car). The hotel is modern, the rooms are very cool, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast variety is great and plentiful, allowing you to fill up for the day and carry on with your visit to this interesting city.Note: our rate considers a hotel that fits a on the go traveler's budget, with no indulgences like those offered by top notch and expensive full-service hotels.
Disliked: Like in many hotels we visit, a night light in the bathroom was missing. Those are good to have in case the guests need for a bio-stop in the early hours of the morning when everything is still dark, and you wake up not really knowing where you are. Those lights would prevent the use of main lights throughout the night.The breakfast area was a bit busy with a few business travelers, but the staff handles things quite well.

Very convenient and comfortable

Liked: Super nice location in the city center. We could walk around the city to have all sightseeings. And we asked for a crib which was very well prepared. And we could bring our dog with us. And it has private parking place. In the lobby there is a small drinking bar, where you can have coffee, tea, and water for free.
Disliked: Nothing.

Lovely Stay In Trier!

Liked: Location is top. Clean, cozy, breakfast was fantastic. The family room was large and the kids loved it. Staff is friendly and easy to work with. English and German.
Disliked: The courtyard can be noisy to the rooms but it's to be expected. Nothing unreasonable for us. Everything else good makes up for this plus 2 nice restaurants are right there for you!
