Great location, poor experience

Liked: Brilliant location, great breakfast and nice staff
Disliked: No parking, just a public parking nearby. Hotel is under refurbishment and stinks at paint and construction site… room was not refurbished properly nor clean either… not at the standard expected for the price paid and for Ibis

EXCELLENT LOCATION - FRIENDLY SERVICE!

Liked: Hostess was very pleasant and helpful! This hotel was very in the city centre and everything was within walking distance.
Disliked: The shower was very tiny - no space to move around or bend to pick anything up if you dropped it.

Liked: Staff cheerful and helpful in difficult circumstances. Excellent breakfast. Nice coffee.
Disliked: I thought you had a car park. Wasn’t clear when booking that you don’t . Very difficult to find without sat nav. A bigger map with route from main road marked would have saved me the stress.

Liked: The location was good, being in the city's central area. The breakfast was very good, with a wide choice of offerings. The view from our balcony was over the river seine. By a stroke of luck, we found a parking spot right outside the hotel.
Disliked: We arrived to be told that the lift was out of order and our room was situated on the 6th floor (we are both in our 70s and my wife has mobility problems). No discount was offered. We were invited to reject the hotel without charge, but this would have left us in the late afternoon searching for alternative accommodation. I have since found out that there are two other Ibis hotels in Rouen (although i dont knowwhetherthey accept dogs), but no effort was made to secure accommodation at either of these. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

Liked: Comfy bed
Disliked: Hotel under renovation so we were put on the 4th floor. The lift wasn’t working so had to trek up 4flights of stairs. We booked for evening meal and was offered a microwaveable meal, no thanks!!!! Had we not been travelling for 9 hours I would have asked for a refund and gone elsewhere.
