A convenient overnight stop for...
Liked: The room was impeccably clean and spacious. We enjoyed a relaxing evening drink in the garden. The inclusive breakfast was good and there was even a machine for making freshly squeezed orange juice. The free shuttle from the hotel to the airport was a huge bonus.
Disliked: The breakfast staff seemed overwhelmed by the sheer number of Japanese tourists at breakfast - tables were not cleared quickly enough and certain items ran out. Overflowing litter bins in the gardens had not been emptied overnight andthere were crisps all over one of the seating areas. The hotel is located in an industrial area. The website states that the restaurant is not open at weekends and there are no restaurants close by. The restaurant was actually open which was a pity we were not aware and had already eaten.

Grungy hotel
Liked: Not much
Disliked: The hotel looked old felt dirty. The carpets in the hall are disgusting and same for the carpets in the room. The pillows (just one each) where cheap and uncomfortable, the bottom sheet was so small it could not be tucked in, the bathroom was dirty, no shower towels were left in the bathroom but behind the door was a towel and some clothes hanging there from the previous guest. The hallway to the rooms smelled like old fried food. This is the second and last time I will use Ibis hotel in the Marseille Airport area. They are very very old, badly maintained and in need if a renovation.

Excellent location, wonderful staff
Liked: Wonderful staff, really friendly and helpful. Great location for airport and access to main road. Supermarket and bakery walking distance. Very clean.

Liked: The staff were the real highlight - friendly and happy. Especially Luna & Serena who picked us up from the airport. The pool was a real treat & the room was quiet and comfy

Don't stay here!!!.....I hate to...
Liked: IBIS are up to website tricks this is not the hotel I booked last year the photos are completely different from the hotel I thought I was going to with more facilities (re restaurant open @ weekends & poolside bar ) not Navette I booked the Marseille Provence hotel @ the airport as this hotel was showing there pictures for the Ibis Styles Marseille hotel... btw u can drop the Style and make it Sty ( as in pig Sty ) restricted restaurant facilities & times especially @ the weekend when I was there 4 items the same lunch & dinner to choose from salade or pizza!! The hotel should be closed! & refurbished dirty carpets,windows,the grounds were over grown & untidy ( no grass cutting) the staff think there doing u a favour ( the customer is always right and pays the wages!) that is my philosophy in Hospitality they are so awkward.After trying to explain yourself as they blank you .....it's ok we understand I don't get the blank face.Thankfully there was a pool and Marseille weather was fantastic
Disliked: All the above!The pool & weather were the only good thing about being stuck here for 2 nights!!
