I think the room was a single with a double bed in it - very small and no room to move around and nowhere to sit, and the door of the room could not fully open because of the wardrobe behind it. Overall we were disappointed for the amount we paid. We are sorry but we will stick to Premier Inns in the future.

Liked: Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Disliked: The room was far too small; being it was a double, two of us could not get into the bathroom.

I stayed here with 3 friends for a concert at MEN. It's a fair walk to the arena but taxis are right outside the hotel. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - really lovely. I'd definitely choose this hotel again.

Disliked: Another set of lifts would have been fantastic - it was very busy so quite a lot of waiting around.

Noisy area.

Liked: The style of the hotel is awesome. It's different, adds character and colour. The attached bar is great. Staff are very friendly and the style of it is lovely. Very cosy.
Disliked: The outside noise is so loud. We have stayed on a Monday night (fair play there was a concert at Co-Op live) but there has been noise all through the night of people laughing and shouting. The worst of it and absolutely no fault of the hotel, tramlines are been installed in the area and they are working through the night. Felt like it was outside our window. Machinery is being used, clunking of metal has been heard. Literally all night. I've managed maybe an hour sleep. Lastly when I got into the bed it felt damp. Almost like it had been washed but not dried fully.

Fantastic central location

Liked: Fantastic central location! The hotel was spotless, the lifts felt secure and were very efficient, and the much-needed AC made for a comfortable stay during a warm weekend.
Disliked: none.
