Decent hotel for a good...
Liked: A decent hotel in a great location. We needed to be in Barmbek, but it also connects to the U and S-train. It is right next to the station. Nice Sportsbar/burger restaurant downstairs. Rooms and service are basic. Elevator is ultra slow. Nice price for a decent hotel and location!
Disliked: Rooms weren't the cleanest. Rooms right next to the train tracks can be pretty loud and sleeping with the window open wasn't an option for me at all.

Very good
Liked: Very nice and quiet room. I did not hear the noisy railroad in my room. Beautiful sunset view from my window. To bad the hotel restaurant was closed (although the sign indicated it should already be open again).Staff could have been a bit more friendly. Didn’t provide a warm welcoming feeling. Problem ist they sit on a chair behond the counter. Standing up and looking the guests straight in the face would be so much better.Still, I will probably return here.

Nice central stay
Liked: Staff was super friendly and helpful, they had small bags you could put on your door flif you didn't want cleaning and they'd put a little treat in there.
Disliked: The two bed rooms are on the side with the tracks. The sound proofing is pretty good, but if you have really light sleep don't forget your earpax.

Liked: Amazing hotel, not far from Hamburg airport and the hotel is clean with lovely staff from the receptionists and the domestics, always willing to help. Definitely made my first time experience in Hamburg great. Will stay definitely recommend this hotel

Superb
Liked: We slept better than at home! Even from the first night. The staff were among the friendliest I've ever experienced. We really liked that they were so diverse.The concern for the environment was excellent; the location and price just right for us; the room was smallish but well-laid out, easily navigable for two people. We liked the security features in the elevator, and that we could connect our computers to the large screen, using it as a monitor, e.g. to watch our choice of movies. The wi-fi was excellent, no problems at all with connection or bandwidth.It's a small detail, but we also liked that our room-carpet gave the exact geographical location of the hotel, down to the arc-minute of latitude and longitude. I can't say why, but that small detail made us feel...more settled, verortet, in our room. Generally the interior design had a nautical theme, which reminded us of Hamburg's long history of shipping.
