Fairly average, wouldn't be be...

Disliked: Only one key given. The key was used for power as well, causing the power to stop working on exit. The fragrance used was overpowering in the lobby, halls and rooms.

Liked: Bed was comfy
Disliked: A fire alarm went off at 5am, the building was evacuated with no communication from staff, we were sitting in the street outside for around 40 minutes with no communication from staff then we were allowed to go back in, once again there was no communication from staff. When we checked out there was no explanation or apology for the inconvenience. I appreciate that your fire safety measures were efficient but keep your customers informed.Ibis, your customer service needs attention.

Lovely Stay.

Liked: The cleanliness, the friendly staffs, Thank you to Rachel in restaurant dept, very friendly lady. Nice buffet, and nice dinner.
Disliked: The surroundings around the hotel, mainly at night is not safe, bit scared to walk because there are strangers sitting outside infront of the hotel.

Liked: some feedback regarding the breakfast options. Overall, the location is great, but I have a few comments:The waffles were too hard and not very pleasant in taste.The beef sausages had a strong odor.The rest of the offerings were very good, especially the services from staffs.

Central room for convenience

Liked: The Ibis Styles East hotel is well positioned very centrally in Perth with easy access to other venues for my work and also short walking distance to many eateries and shops.The rooms are on the more cosy side but perfectly adequate. Comfortable bed, good hot shower with a good amount of water pressure despite the size of the hotel.
Disliked: I arrived later in the evening and the building was closed up despite advertising late check-in, my flight was delayed, but thankfully there was a door to buzz in and get checked in, just gave me a moment of panic.I had been concerned that being so central it would be rather noisy but this actually was not as bad as I thought it would be, either due to height or glazing but a nice surprise.
