Liked: Rooms were very spacious and very clean. Staff was great and helpful. Great value that included breakfast and parking. Love that a good variety of restaurants and stores very close in walking distance.
Disliked: Beds were hard.

Exceptional

Liked: This modern hotel in Caen is conveniently located right across the street from the train station. There are also several nice restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean and roomy. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Liked: Location, sunny breakfast room, great range.

Mixed impression this time despite...

Liked: I would like to emphasize the exceptional service at the reception. Shortcut to the parking via elevator was also very confy. The breakfast was not very various in terms of choice however delicious and fine!
Disliked: Quite not clean towels as they seem to be overused from before, not properly working air conditioner made air in the night too heavy.

Great hotel, close to everything...

Liked: Great location, an easy walk from main train station. Very large rooms and bathrooms. Easy walk to the local sights. Nice views across the river. A very good base to explore the Normandy region. Great breakfast included.

Great stay at IBIS CAEN

Liked: Very simple, clean room, not overheated; very good bed, I slept really well! superb location close to the station; very nice brekfazst;
Disliked: I would have preferred a room on the back of the hotel

Lovely staff, excellent breakfast, safe...

Liked: There is an underground car parking garage underneath the hotel which is most convenient for those who drive. An excellent choice of dishes is offered for breakfast. The staff were super helpful and amazingly understanding - most embarrasingly, our puppy lost control of her bladder in the foyer, but the receptionist was friendly and professional, and did her absolute best to assure me that it was no problem at all! We also requested a tax invoice many months after our stay, and received it within minutes.
