Visit to Caen, Normandy

Liked: Great location within short walking distance to the city centre, public transport and main line rail station. Staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful.

A convenient overnight stay near...

Liked: Reasonably convenient for Caen railway station (the hotel is reached from the station main entrance via a lengthy underpass), and situated on the the quais of the River Orne, with lots of food outlets nearby. The Reception Staff were welcoming and very helpful.
Disliked: All OK - the room was basic but functional.

Besides parking issue EXCELLENT!

Disliked: There’s underground parking. It’s partly covered by the hotel unless your car is parked for more than 12h, then you pay the fixed parking’s fee of 30€. We’re quickly outside that bracket if you arrive night time, sleep and visit the next day. We only stayed 1 night so I didn’t ask if it was 30€ per day… Besides that, everything was perfect!!

Liked: Modern and clean. Excellent location, walking distance to train station, restaurants, and city center.
Disliked: Room was a bit too hot.
