Liked: Great breakfast buffet and I liked that they have a sign clearing decentivising waste. A lovely walk along the river direct from the hotel to Old Town. Convenient for the train and bus stations.
Disliked: No curtains! And a headboard like a torture item. Fundamentally a hotel should enable you to sleep. No curtains meant a glaring orange glow from the street lighting the room all night. We were also treated to flashing hazard lights and as a special bonus loads of blue lights due to a police incident. The horrible pillows provided were 1 each and not enough to be able to prop yourself up in bed as the low angled wooden headboard dug in.

Liked: The staff was very kind! Great for a fews days in Annecy. Center is a doable walking distance along the water. Airconditioning in the room was okay.
Disliked: Two separate mattresses in a double bed as a couple is not pleasant. The breakfast was not worth it in my opinion. Very basic, little variety since most of it was gone already at 9. Fresh squeezed orange juice was self-service with one small juicer, which caused long waiting lines for just the tiniest glass of juice.

Liked: Very clean, excellent firm bed and very helpful staff. Lovely town with great restaurants, just a fifteen minutes walk.The hotel is great for one or two nights, and a great breakfast, I would definitely stay there again
Disliked: Not really a dislike but the Aircon could be a little cooler

No beauty, but functional!

Liked: The absence of aesthetics in ibis hotels is always a challenge, but for an overnight stay in transit, the accommodation meets all the necessary requirements: the room is clean, the bed really comfy, the shower great and the breakfast generous and fresh.What annoyed me was being told after booking that the parking space was limited and subject to a charge (€16). In the end there was no free space in the hotel parking and we parked in the Chevêne parking garage, a 5-minute walk from the hotel: Recommended - ibis covers the cost of parking during the night.Hotel location: approx. 10 min. walk to the old town.
Disliked: -
