Exceptional
Liked: Everything except the reception.Worst ever experienced.
Disliked: When we arrived the lady at the reception did not say anything except: “NOM?”Then we got the room number and key.So she just spend only ONE word. Effective but it has nothing to do with hospitality !

Great hotel…. if a little...
Liked: Comfortable modern room, clean bathroom with good shower, air con in room and comfy bed. Food is ok but probably better to eat in town. Breakfast good with lots of variety. Very secure parking garage (chargeable). Central location in the city
Disliked: The room rate was quite expensive for an ibis hotel and the garage parking also expensive

Standard ibis in city centre
Liked: The location was good - a five minute walk to the Cathedral and less than one minute to the main high street. All day bar was convenient, indoor and outdoor seating for relaxation, free water dispenser for guests at the rear of reception, free Wi-Fi. Staff were very polite and friendly.
Disliked: The decor in the rooms is slightly different - bare, industrial concrete. WiFi was a bit iffy at times, I don't like refillable toiletries as it leaves them open to contamination, wasn't able to eat in the restaurant one night, despite it being empty, there were groups in the hotel whome I guess hadn't arrived for service, Restaurant/Breakfast room was quite warm at times.

Great location, very comfortable and...
Liked: The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is just a few minutes walk from the train station and also only a few minutes from the Cathedral. There is a pedestrian shopping street right around the corner and all sorts of restaurants and cafes very near by. The staff were friendly and helpful and let us leave our luggage for a few hours when we arrived early and again when we left. There is a comfortable lobby to sit in. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of choices (buffet style). The hotel is quiet and the room was very comfortable, with a good shower. We often stay in Ibis hotels because they are almost always clean, comfortable, and efficient, with good breakfasts. This one was better than the Ibis standard so we were very pleased.
Disliked: We weren't great fans of the "industrial chic" decor -- at first glance we thought there was mildew on the ceiling of our room, but then we figured out it was part of the decorating scheme! But that's a very minor detail.
