Nice, comfortable hotel near the...

Liked: Room was comfortable and the breakfast has a nice selection of options. The staff was extremely friendly.We were able to check in and out easily and the later checkout helped us relax before heading to our cruise ship.

Great location and lovely hotel

Liked: Lots of parking on site is great. The hotel was clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with lots of choice.It was in a great location for our visit being the Mayflower theatre and Southampton summer sessions at the guildhall.
Disliked: Due to the extreme hot weather the rooms were like a sauna even with the windows open and using the fan provided in the room. Unfortunately there isn't air conditioning in the rooms which would have made the room much more bearable.

Disliked: Checking in was a rush as there was only 1 person on.We paid 12 for parking but we never was given anything to put in car to say we was staying.So after 2 weeks away we came home to a parking fine of £60
