Stayed here with my daughter for one night while attending a concert at the Motorpoint Arena. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The 24/7 snack menu didnt give many choices although breakfast was an all you can eat buffet and very nice.
Liked: Suited our needs.

Very friendly and helpful staff; lovely, clean room; very close to the venue and easy to reach and find as well. I'd recommend it to anyone and go back there myself when next in Sheffield at a show.

The Ibis Sheffield City Centre...
Liked: The location is handy - 10 to 15 minutes from pretty much anywhere you may wish to visit.The hotel rooms felt pretty recently done and very very clean. Shower was excellent and the bed comfortable.The breakfast was just great - loads of options from cereal to fruit and yoghurt to buffet English breakfast options.
Disliked: Very minor point but no air con for cooling. Probably not a massively common issue for the location we just happened to hit a heatwave and air con would’ve been very welcome.

Liked: Short walk to train station.
Disliked: No aircon , not a major thing but in order to get some air into the room we opened the window but not possible to have the window open and curtains closed as they block the window completely due to the positioning. I saw a note reporting charges of £10/£20 for an hour or two early check in. Not great but it didn’t apply to me. Area is questionable where the hotel is.
