Disliked: Breakfast was not good. Hash browns were too oily. Sausages weren’t nice. Small range. Building and rooms are old. Sheets don’t smell fresh and clean. Average stay.

Disappointing

Liked: Receptionist at the front counter was lovely and helpful and poor girl was flat out but made sure everyone was well informed
Disliked: Place was disgusting! Shower was full of scum and black mould looking stuff. Beds looked like they had been thrown together and we had no tea coffee etc in the room which was weird as we were given milk at the front desk? Definitely recommend they hire more staff as staff were cleaning the rooms around us and we didn’t check in until 4pm. All other staff (excluding front lady) seemed stressed and run off their feet. I understand we didn’t pay that much for the room but basic cleanliness wouldn’t go a miss!

Disliked: We had to wait two an a quarter hours for our room You said check in was 2 o'clock. What a joke as we were hoping to have a rest before we went out but not even time for shower. Chair in our room had a ripped arm. Room was 380

Liked: The location is great!
Disliked: The beds are on wheels which is great for movement and cleaning but they kept moving which was frustrating. The aircon wasn't powerful at all.

Disliked: 1 hour delay waiting to be booked in, then registration mislaid by hotelwhich added to the delay. Room carpet was dirty and stained.

7pm check in - no...

Liked: Good location
Disliked: Arrived at 7pm after a day hiking to be told the room wasn’t ready. After a quick chat they offered to call the manager. Manager arrived and after a wait we were told the room wasn’t ready ready but there were no towels. Another 5 minutes (we were getting cold and frustrated by this point) we were given 2 towels and our room keys. No real apology given. The next day we saw others being bumped up another hotel. Granted they were busy - but think customer service has to be better than that. We were left pretty frustrated with our experience.
