Yes I will recommend to my friends that even for holidays, your choice of Ibis cannot be wrong, especially this one in Rotherham. Thanks for making our stay there so relaxed and fun. Especially Carole and Debbie! Thanks again for your friendship and help. Cannot ever forget the ever smiling Carole!
Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, at all times! Keep it up. I have stayed in Ibis all over Europe in my earlier working days in the 80's. Never wrong for working visits and now holidays too.
Disliked: The rooms and toilets in the 3rd floor definitely could do with some upgrades. Water pressure on 3rd floor is really slow. Could do with a refurbishment.

Mostly ok, spoiled at the...
Liked: The hotel itself is ok although a bit tired looking now and would benefit from some investment in new beds or mattresses and improve the general presentation. Having said that we realise the cost of the stay was very reasonable.
Disliked: The staff, or more to the point one staff member. Let me explain. I made an error in the booking which I didn't notice. So we booked from 19th to 29th June. I was focussed on the nights we stayed, and totally forgot that meant we should have booked until the 30th as our check out date. My error. Anyway that meant on Sunday 29th that we should have checked out but we didn't. We went out for the day, returning at around 7.30pm. My wife noticed she couldn't access the room and went to reception to recharge the key. Then this particular staff member informed her we should have checked out earlier. After a bit of checking we realised the error. We apologised, explaining the mistake and asked if it would be ok to stay that night and pay the extra for it. She was adamant that we couldn't stay as they were supposedly fully booked for the next day and needed to prepare our room for an early check in. I know for a fact there were a number of empty rooms they could have used to accommodate that person as many had checked out this day. So she gave us 20 minutes to gather our belongings and leave. We were disgusted by her attitude, There was no effort to find a solution, Added to which, that whilst maybe they were under no obligation to do so, no-one contacted us earlier in the day once they realised we hadn't checked out and they needed the room, If they had we would have returned straight away and sorted it out. So we were effectively kicked out. We decided to drive to our next location that evening instead of the next day as we'd planned to do, fortunately they had vacancies. But we were appalled by the really poor customer service we experienced, she was awful. For sure, we will never use this hotel again.
