The hotel the Ibis booked...

Liked: We booked this property because it was close to the train station and we were going to a concert and I just had a procedure done on my shoulder and was not allowed to walk too far. it also saved us taking our car up I have stayed here before and loved the stay which is why we chose the hotel. Well, we had a problem the hotel and management were amazing how they dealt with it and everything was fixed. I have no problem going back to this hotel because I have stayed there before and it was lovely.
Disliked: We had major problems with our booking and ended up being booked in somewhere else by the hotel. Which is quite disappointing as we chose this hotel because it was 400 m from the train station.

Liked: Location central to all the amenities
Disliked: Room was very noisy. The air conditioner was extremely loud and the fridge made lots of cracking and banging noises. When the air con was turned off there was still noise from the system. Not much sleep was had.

Liked: Location was good for walking to all major venues and eateries in the CBD as well as a good price for parking. The reception staff were lovely. We had dinner in the Rubix bar (part of the hotel) and great value, tasty food (sirloin steak $19)! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The room was sufficient for an overnight stay for the concert we attended.
Disliked: The room and the bathroom we had were extremely small for two people. Our floor had an air of being very unkempt. The carpets in the hallways are well overdue for replacing, very stained. The walls in the room and the hallway were in need of painting.
