Liked: Conveniently located for the Gare du Nord and quiet. Helpful staff. Simple facilities but great for a pit stop. There are some decent restaurants just across the canal.

Disliked: Unfortunately, my overall experience at the hotel was disappointing. The bald Indian receptionist provided very poor service. I requested room cleaning, and he refused. I also asked for a paper cup to drink water, but he declined to provide one.Additionally, the housekeeper’s behavior was unacceptable. She did not clean the room properly, and during breakfast, her attitude was also unprofessional. Despite placing the "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door, she entered our room without permission, violating our privacy.A very unpleasant experience that I feel should be shared.

Great place to stay for...

Liked: The location was great and the room was good size for me or a couple if two. The location allowed me to walk to everything I needed. The breakfast was good - not amazing! Overall good place and would stay here again.
Disliked: The price point was a little too high for the quality of services and room size.

Good location for relaxed nightlife

Liked: Great to be on the Canal St Martin for a night, a really buzzy spot with good bars and restaurants and a laid back vibe.
Disliked: If you like sleeping with the window open, the proximity to a busy fire brigade station might put you off as the sirens were going off all night - but the air conditioning fan is quiet and effective
