It did us for what...
Liked: Breakfast was very good and staff were helpful getting different milk. Location not too bad as it was a reasonable walk to shops and other places to eat.
Disliked: The bed was just a bit uncomfortable for people our age (70+).Other pillow options would have been good.

I will not be staying...
Liked: I chose this hotel based on my previous positive experiences with Ibis in Europe, but unfortunately, this one didn’t meet the same standard in terms of service.
Disliked: The experience at this hotel fell short of expectations. Unlike other Ibis hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe, this one did not provide basic amenities such as slippers or standard in-room essentials. When we asked for slippers, we were told they were out of stock and only available on backorder.We also requested a toothbrush and toothpaste and were informed they were available, but only for purchase at $5 each.While the room was cleaned on the first day, it was not serviced on the following days, even though I had placed the “Make Up My Room” sign outside. When I called to ask why, I was told that rooms are not cleaned daily and was offered a drink voucher instead. However, when I went to redeem it at the bar, I was told I could only choose from three of the cheapest drinks, not from the full menu.In another instance, when I called reception to request a knife, I was told I had to come down and collect it myself, which was quite inconvenient.Additionally, parking was charged at $20 per night, which was not clearly mentioned at the time of booking.Overall, the service and amenities did not meet the standard I’ve come to expect from the Ibis brand.
