All staff were very friendly; very clean; lovely breakfast; peaceful even though in a busy area.

Liked: Location is pretty much spot on for what we needed. Close enough to town, but also close to the Academy. Room itself was fine, but the bathroom door didn't shut properly, slightly annoying but not a big issue.
Disliked: One lift was broken meaning service staff and guests were using the same one which was frustrating. Even more annoying was you couldn't summon a lift on the 7th floor meaning you had to walk down to the 6th which wasn't especially sign posted where they were. My OH has slight mobility issues so this caused a flare up after the visit.Not related to the hotel, but worth knowing - the Charles St. car park is now closed so the nearest parking is a bit further away, which might impact if we return or not.

Good stay but a pity...

Liked: Good location, staff friendly.
Disliked: Clean room but a strong, bad drain smell was present in the toilet area (probably emanating from the shower plug hole). It wasn’t really worth complaining as I was only staying one night.

Great facilities, easy to locate...

Liked: Easy to walk to the centre and all the things we had booked! Beds were super comfy and facilities had everything we needed.
Disliked: We couldn’t get the air con / heater to work, to be fair we didn’t ask for help, so not a big deal!
