Liked: Location was fantastic and as a solo traveller the room had all I required. Comfortable bed, neat bathroom and easy walk with luggage from Oxford Street rail station.

Liked: Location
Disliked: Bathroom is basically a "porta-potty" installed in the bathroom and breakfast is served in the Novotel which is located next to Ibis, this was not advertised when I booked the room.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay,...
Liked: Upon entering the complex it was certainly nice, the decor and how everything was planned out looked amazing and comforting. You get a sense of ease in the premise. The initial staff member that checked us in was ok. Not too enthusiastic, he did his job which is fine, but compared to other staff members in other hotels, he could have had a little more of a smile, cheery and enthusiasm in his reception/hospitality type role as he greeted us. Not a negative but not a big plus either. The room was very nice and comfortable, plenty of clean towels which I like. Body wash and shampoo was provided also a solid in my eyes. The TV has the option for Netflix and YouTube which was such a big win because even a very nice hotel next to you did not provide that for movie nights, so props to you! There was a strong ac unit as that day was particularly hot, that helps tremendously. The bed was nice and firm which I enjoyed too, overall I enjoyed my brief stay
Disliked: There was a little weird smell in the room and it required us to have the ac constantly on to keep air circulating whilst the window was open, not very overpowering but something we noticed upon entering the room. The ac unit flap is broken and I have to direct move and direct the air to blow into the room otherwise it was aiming down to the floor at the door. I think the flap isn't protesting properly. The shower was spacious but the opening at the bottom on the way it was designed lets a lot of water to leak out and onto the ground, so stepping out is like stepping into a pudding of shower water. The towel to lay down to step on is soaked so it makes it pointless, having that gap at the bottom is a major flaw and makes it a safety issue which should be looked into to prevent an injuries or possible lawsuits as someone might slip, and it only need to happen the once. The TV whilst it was a big plus you have Netflix and YouTube on your TV, the remote didn't work, the buttons did not specifically work for either Netflix or YouTube, whilst we were so excited for it and finally found a hotel that does just that, we were let down by the fact it didn't work. It was such a shame and disappointment to have had that happen to us
