Liked: Cool and comfortable bed linen. Nicely air conditioned and quiet. I had a fantastic night’s sleep.

Great budget choice in Part-Dieu

Liked: Clean, friendly staff & functional. Great location for our needs. Air con in rooms (much needed!).
Disliked: Fairly basic, but to be expected for a 3*. Breakfast also a bit basic but did the jobs. Towels tiny & very thin!

Right by the station

Liked: This is a very basic cheap hotel right by the train station, and I booked it at the last minute, on the train, when I realised I was going to miss my connection and be stuck in Lyon. It was fine. The bed was comfortable, the AC was clearly straining at the high heat but acceptable, there was a place to put my bag.
Disliked: The neighbourhood is a bit skeevy, and the room was very basic, also the socket was miles from the bed, but it was just fine, accessible, and right there. For a one night changing trains stop it was fine.
