Ibis London Greenwich

Lovely clean and modern hotel; within easy walking distance to all the sights Greenwich has to offer and the DLR. Pleasant and helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble for them. Tasty breakfast at the Cafe Rouge. Many thanks.

Very unsafe to leave your...

Liked: Clean and decent location without being in central London
Disliked: I was told London is a bad place to take a van and god weren’t they right. Although this hotel charged me £25 to park in there underground car park I can say that it’s 100% unsafe to leave your van there. I was there no more than 30 minutes and after checking it I thought let’s get the important tools out of the van. As i inside the van packing a bag I noticed a guy in a red tracksuit(easy to spot on cameras) walking around and around the car park. Which is completely open at the rear to flats and residential buildings. I watch him walk up to a silver transit and pull on all the handles. He then proceeded to walk up to my van which was open with me inside and he slides my sliding door open. He took one look at me and started running. Filled with panic and adrenaline I started chasing him only to have a knife pulled out on me and released this is ridiculous. This car park needs full fencing put up around the back of the carpark to limit access to people just walking in. Very very disappointing, I had to get up every couple of hours to check on my van and could not settle.The two on the reception told me they would keep a closer eye on the cameras and my belongings would be safe. But every time I can down to check myself they were sitting playing on their phones.

London Trip

Liked: Staff were very friendly and happy to help. The beautiful tall young lady didn't catch her name, and Amman gave exceptional service.Location is 10/10 shops and restaurants are 2 to 3min walk away.The hotel is kids friendly as well.
Disliked: The Tv in my room didn't seem to have any volume. But overall, I loved it

Liked: Greenwich is extremely nice and this hotel very comfortable and friendly. And the breakfast was fantastic, especially the vegan british breakfast.

Another excellent stay at Greenwich...

Liked: A great location for visiting London and an affordable price compared to London hotels.
Disliked: The rooms have been refurbished but are a little dark, especially for ladies who wash and blow dry hair.
