Disliked: Shower/ toilets are all small and plastic pods. Very basic but functional Feel ridiculous to be charged £3.00 for every bag stored for a few hours in a cupboard!

Liked: Location, size of bathroom and that it had an iron + ironing board
Disliked: Room too warm, even when I had the thermostat on 0. The mattrass had a lot of dust on the headboard side (topper was smaller so I had a clear view), so not sure if they clean it properly. Upon check in the front desk told me that I still had to pay for my room, while it was already paid up front. I showed them the payment receipt and he said he still couldn't find it. After some help from his colleagues he said that he had to check the booking.com system where he could see it was paid. The next day around 10 pm I received a message on whatsapp (!!) that I still had to pay for my room. I really don't appreciate this and your staff needs to be trained and/or communicate better with each other.

Good value hotel and very...

Liked: very clean and comfortable with a good value breakfast. the hotel is literally on the corner of Aldgate East tube so getting around London was so easy. plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
Disliked: this is the second time I have stayed here. I was charged £3 per piece of luggage if you want to store it when you check out, this was not the case the first time I stayed in December 2023 when it was free.
