Inexpensive, nice staff, but security...

Liked: The room was fine, and within walking distance of the University, where I was attending a conference. There was a kettle in the room. The staff seemed nice.
Disliked: There was a security fence around the hotel that made going and coming in convenient, and made it seem like the hotel was in a very rough area (which didn't seem to be the case, but I guess it must have been). The room was aggressively decorated with athletic imagery, which was not to my taste at all. The room faced right onto a busy road, so it wasn't very quiet or private.

Liked: I loved the quirkiness of the hotel and gardens. Its proximity to the Pierre Mauroy Statium was also a massive plus.
Disliked: I was disappointed that my room didn’t have a fridge or tea & coffee facilities.

Liked: Location. Fairly easy to get to the Pierre Mauroy Stadium. 20 min walk. Overall pleasant and helpful staff
Disliked: Seemed like a college dorm room.

Liked: Overall location of the property was good. Easy to.get the metro to Lille and walking distance from a shopping centre and the local stadioum
Disliked: Only down.side was the patches of mould on the ceiling in the bathroom and the corner of the outside wall cupboards. A little more attention to detail by the staff regarding these issues.

Liked: Great people working here. Super helpful and friendly. good beds. Nice bar/restaurant
Disliked: Breakfast good be more choices.
