Paul B, Morpeth, visiting Brudenell Social Club Leeds Sun, 19 February 2017

Arrived by car and parked in public car park over the road. Our stay required we had to feed the meter rather frequently because of timing. An overnight stay was just £2 though. The hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful and the general ambiance is quite pleasant. Despite the road the room on the 6th floor was very quiet. Free wifi is included and the optional breakfast very good. I'd certainly use this hotel again.

Liked: Clean, comfortable and quiet. Pleasant bar and great breakfast available at a reasonable cost. Great value overall.
Disliked: On a busy road, but not a major problem. Someone with reduced mobility may differ.

Nice hotel and good price, but too far out from city centre.

Liked: Price and rooms always the same standard.
Disliked: Location.

Felt very hard done by...

Liked: difficult to say as we were downgraded to this hotel from the one we had booked with no compensation - clearly a much lower standard than the one in Marlborough Street
Disliked: location completely the wrong side of town as we were relocated. lives up to its ?Budget? title yet we had paid for the normal Ibis hotel. Tiny room, no cupboards / storage.

Too noisy

Disliked: Hotel clean and comfortable. Staff friendly. However, this is a city centre hotel and Leeds is a magnet for stag and hen parties. Our stay was going fine until we were woken up in the early hours by what sounded like a party going on in the corridor... lots of jovial shouting, doors slamming, music !!! As a small female group we didnt want to confront the party goers and we only saw 1 member of staff the whole time we were there so it seemed pointless running the gauntlet to complain at reception. We got up very early so we could drive home and go back to bed

Provided the level of accomodation...

Liked: Room clean. No paperwork in room so I didn't think there was any free Wi-Fi. No Tea making facilities. I had no reason to see any staff so Ihad no reason to judge.

Passable

Liked: The room was clean
Disliked: However for 100 pounds per night I would of expected a bigger room that had the bathroom seperate I originally booked for ibis style and my room got changed to ibis budget I'm sorry but 100 pounds per night for a small room and no bathroom privacy is absolutely horrendous
