Arrived by car and parked in public car park over the road. Our stay required we had to feed the meter rather frequently because of timing. An overnight stay was just £2 though. The hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful and the general ambiance is quite pleasant. Despite the road the room on the 6th floor was very quiet. Free wifi is included and the optional breakfast very good. I'd certainly use this hotel again.

Disliked: On a busy road, but not a major problem. Someone with reduced mobility may differ.

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff from the time I arrived to the time I left. Food was excellent. Bed comfortable.
Disliked: Carpets will need replacing. A more comfortable chair in the room would be appreciated.

Rubbish. Stay somewhere else.

Disliked: Had to cross lots of busy roads to access, was placed in a room next to the stairwell so had to listen to constant stomping up and down the stairs all night which kept me awake. No earplugs were supplied and I wasn’t advised to bring my own so I got no sleep and it ruined my trip. When I complained the hotel advised they did not care.

Pleasant

Liked: The hotel was in a lovely location and the staff were lovely and friendly. The corridors and communal areas of the hotel looked great.
Disliked: In the room I was in, you had to push really hard on the door to get in as the bed was too close to the door. The bathroom door didn't shut right and had cracks in it. Some of the shelves in the wardrobe also had chunks missing.
