Convenient location.. poor facilities and...

Liked: The property was in a central location
Disliked: The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. Met with extra charges at check in. Advised they were city taxes which I pre paid as part of the booking.com booking. We were provided with a different room then when booked. The room its self had multiple faults.. shower hanging off the wall, everytime you moved the head of it the whole thing came with it. The 2 different shower heads also wouldn’t isolate so it was both running at once or nothing and there was mould all round the floor. There were screws sticking out of the floor which my partner cut himself on. One room the window opened in to another room and the other room had no window at all, only a locked door, no ventilation. The rooms were smoked in (stated non smoking) the smell was awful.When addressed, we were moved rooms in to another room that had clearly been smoked in due to the ash everywhere and offered 1 free breakfast (we were staying for 4 nights). Lastly we went to the bar one evening to ask for a glass with some ice cubes to be told they’d ran out of glasses… a fully stocked bar and that we weren’t allowed a glass. The hotel lobby is lovely and modern.. however, the rooms are extremely outdated and nothing like the pictures.
