Good for short stay but...

Disliked: Hard bed lumpy pillows

Liked: Brilliant situation right by station, but quiet. Room had view of cathedral! Clean, comfortable. Friendly check-in staff.
Disliked: Nothing

Perfect location right beside train...

Liked: Perfect location. The back door at reception leads straight into the Cologne HBF railway station. The hotel is directly across maktplatz from the cathedral.Breakfast was great. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Had an excellent night's sleep. There is a bar just around the corner who do the pork hocks - simply outstanding (and the kolsch beer is pretty damned good as well).
Disliked: The only challenge was getting there by car to drop our bags off. Every parking spot was occupied by either taxis or police vehicles.

Disliked: Small rooms, one medium towel per person, no water or bar etc.. just weird bed and a room for almost 200eur. But great location!
