Outstanding hotel. Ibis over the years have improved dramatically and if possible I will be booking Ibis on future trips.

Liked: The size of the room for a budget price was fantastic.
Disliked: Nothing at all.

We were refused a bar of chocolate when we got back to hotel. He said they didn't have any. When I pointed to the chocolate clearly in view, I was given a dirty look from the staff member and ignored. Very unpleasant man.

Disliked: Grumpy night staff. Very unhelpful.

The room itself was very nice, clean and comfortable. However we were woken on four different occasions due to guests running up and down and shouting/laughing outside our room. At one point I called reception to complain - this was about 5am. Therefore we were not happy with our stay and unfortunately won't be returning, which is a shame because were go to the Roadmender quite often.

Liked: Clean room.
Disliked: Noise.

Excellent hotel for foot travellers...

Liked: This is the third time I've stayed at this hotel so you could say I'm pretty well satisfied. Good breakfasts, comfortable bed and bathroom facilities. I also had a dinner for the first time - an immense pizza, very tasty and my only regret I had to leave a bit of the bread as my stomach couldn't take any more!last time I had problems with the lifts but either they have improved or I've got the hang of them.
Disliked: Bit of a route march from the lift exit to my room but I suppose that's the luck of the draw, Anyway I need the exercise. as probably noted las time there is a bit of a design fault in the bathroom - the toilet roll gets dripped on by water spilling over form the wash basin.

Decent location, good value, good...

Liked: Location was great for getting into town. Car parking at reasonable cost. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Room was too hot.Only provided with a fan that was not very good

Basic chain hotel near station...

Liked: Location near station.
Disliked: Long walk to room.. endless corridors.Noisy people in small echoey bar.Deluged with unnecessary emails eg to check in or out online, Ive made booking and just want to turn up and pay and get key like in every other hotel.
