ibis Hotel Brussels off Grand'Place

Lovely staff, great location, but...

Liked: The location is great, very close to Central Station and Grote Markt. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, including diy waffles!
Disliked: The room was quite small considering the steep price. And for this price I would also have expected a coffee maker in the room.

good location but only for...

Liked: Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was very good, 200m from Brussels Central station. Able to take train from Brussels Airport to the hotel even tho it was near midnight. Mattress was comfortable. We didn't take breakfast but saw that the spread was nice and good value for money.
Disliked: The room was so tiny, could only fit one 24 inch luggage bag. Had to move the furniture around to accommodate the second smaller bag. The mattress didn't sit properly on the bed frame. No amenities, eg no kettle to boil water. Upon insistence, night staff took us to the dining room to take hot water from dispenser. The soap dispenser was not on the holder - housekeeping should have told maintenance before we raise the issue.

Great location and stay

Liked: The location was perfect and the accommodation was clean and as expected for the cost.
Disliked: The room wasn’t ready at 3pm. We were offered free drinks but it was disappointing.

Great location and wonderful staff!

Liked: Great location! Staff were very helpful and facilitated an early check in which we really appreciated. We were there on the hottest first of July ever - so even the moderate cooling of the air conditioning was much appreciated! Easy to store luggage after checkout. Clean. Comfy beds.

Disliked: No fridge or microwave in room. But they the lobby accommodated and keep it downstairs and were willing to heat it up.
