Disliked: Rooms are small. Quite expensive for what it is. Easy walk to town but location feels a bit sketchy as a solo female traveller.

Liked: Simple room but clean and fine for a couple of nights.
Disliked: I’ve stayed here a number of times over the years for work and always had a pleasant stay. However the treatment from the staff at the front desk last Saturday has made me question if I would return again. There was an incredibly rude woman who was working on the desk when I came to check out. When I asked for a receipt for my stay she was snappy and moody and claimed she’d email it to me, without even asking what room number/name the booking was under. When I said I really did need a printed invoice she stomped off to get it and practically threw it at me when she returned. Ridiculous behaviour from someone in a customer facing job. I’ve never had a problem before at this hotel, but I’ve noticed from other review this seems to be an ongoing issue here. Really ended my trip on a negative note.

Breakfast poor rooms very small

Liked: Bed was comfortable
Disliked: Breakfast was poor. Hot food only consists of scrambled eggs beans, sausage, toast. Coffee was filtered or you can pay extra for cappuccinos etc. There were cold bits like fruit ham cheese but it's the worst Breakfast I've every been offered in a hotel.Rooms were very small. Bed was put up against a wall but it was a comfortable bed to sleep in. The shower was good and hot water.

Would nut recommend. Steer clear...

Good value central hotel in...

Liked: Good value for money (we booked well in advance), excellent location (short walk from the train station and city centre), and lovely communal areas in the main lobby.
Disliked: Room was tiny and very tight for three boys sharing, but adequate as somewhere only to sleep during a one night visit to the city.
